About Us

Thröl is an artistic project that starts from a very simple idea: since AI is desperate to produce a clean, neat, reassuring world, I might as well push it until it finally shows what it doesn’t control. So I have fun making it stumble, skid, and understand that its “rules” don’t interest me.

The result: images that look like what the algorithm tries to avoid – the weird, the crooked, the too human.

The Thröl project explores that: the zone where AI stops being a factory for pretty images and becomes an involuntary revealer of our obsessions, our delusions, and our blind spots. In other words, I take a tool designed to please and ask it to disappoint me properly.

The point isn’t to use AI “like everyone else”, but to see what it has in its guts when you stop congratulating it for its cleanliness. It’s a work of exploration, friction, and sometimes technological humiliation – with a certain elegance, let’s be honest.
